City stairways grey, cold concrete which is often dirty. These Street Artists around the world decided to do something about it. What they have done is nothing short of phenomenal. Masakatsu Sashie is a Japanese painter, born in 1974 in Kanazawa. His paintings of spherical structures floating above rubble on the streets, envision a future where environmental disasters have made the cities depicted uninhabitable. While he has been painting since 1999, his work caught more national intention in 2005 at the Geisai art show.

久米小百合 (Sayuri Kume) – 異邦人 A Foreigner (Ihoujin) – Covered by チャラン・ポ・ランタン (Charan-Po-Rantan). Charan-Po-Rantan is a sister duo that has an “exuberant, alternative-cabaret-meets-circus vibe” as described by Wall Street Journal, comprised of Momo on vocals, and her older sister Koharu on the accordion.
