Centre of the Heart Nebula by Ivan Eder (Hungary). Situated 7500 light years away in the ‘W’-shaped constellation of Cassiopeia, the Heart Nebula is a vast region of glowing gas, energized by a cluster of young stars at its centre. The image depicts the central region, where dust clouds are being eroded and moulded into rugged shapes by the searing cosmic radiation. (Photo by Ivan Eder)

A Maasai woman arrives with collected firewoods at a village nearby Selenkay Conservancy, a community-owned conservation area running by a private company, in Amboseli, Kenya, on June 22, 2022. The camp's ten luxurious tents see tourists flocking again, after the shutdown linked to Covid-19. They observe in small groups elephants, giraffes, antelopes or lions on 5,000 hectares, located on the edge of Amboseli National Park, in the south of the country, and have a glimpse of the life of the Masai, the owners of the land. Woolland Woods, Dorset. Landscape photographer of the year 2020. “Taken in spring of 2018 in a wooded area close to Milborne St Andrew in Dorset, this was the third visit to the area in a matter of days. On the previous days, both devoid of morning mists, the light had been harsh and unappealing but the third day delivered stunning conditions with mist swirling through the trees. The low shooting position allowed more emphasis to be placed on the wild garlic and pathway”. (Photo by Chris Frost/UK Landscape Photographer of the Year 2020)

Participants of the annual “SlutWalk” march through the Israeli Mediterranean coastal city of Tel Aviv on May 4, 2018 to protest against rape culture, including sexual assault and harassment directed at women. The campaign, which has gained international notoriety, was inspired by group of Canadian women who launched the protest in 2011 in response to a policeman' s comment that if women want to avoid being attacked they should not dress like sl*ts.
