Pierre Gonnord started by photographing his neighborhood but soon left France for Spain, where he lives since 1988. Italy, Portugal, Japan, United States are just some of the countries where Pierre Gonnord has gone in search of models.

Dillon was born in the spring of 2013. He lived for four months on the streets near Boston, MA before being scooped up by the Animal Rescue League of Boston.

This is due to ethnic issues in Japan resulting in those with Ainu backgrounds hiding their identities and confusion over mixed heritages. In Japan, because of intermarriage over many years with Japanese, the concept of a 'pure Ainu' ethnic group is no longer feasible.
