About Me

My Name Is Shikhei Goh. I was born in Dabo Singkep (Riau Islands) and now I live in Batam Island, an industrial island about 45 minutes by boat from singapore. I started taking pictures using a DSLR in March 2011. I had tried taking pictures of many things but I really have a great passion for Macro photography and I can say I am a macro addict.
I have always said to myself that I must and I can make great photos. After countless of trials and errors, explorations, and criticisms I can say that I am happy enough for what I have achieved now. However, I will keep on exploring as there are always new things in macro photography.

I am 17 years old and an aspiring photographer. Ever since I set my hands on a camera, I knew I had unlocked a new dimension. One where you can expand your imagination and run for endless miles. Photography makes you look at things differently. You notice rain drops and the way the sun kisses the Earth. You breath in every moment of your life. You love to live and live to love. There is no time to waste because there is an urgency to capture each loving gesture, smile, and laugh in both humans and animals. Then every photograph becomes timeless and you smile, knowing that you hold a few split seconds in your hands. I live in a box called a camera with the lens as my window and everyday I sit on my couch watching the world outside through a different perspective. No worries, my dogs are right beside me looking at it the same way.

Fact Baby Jaguars Are Named at the Zoo

Stella the mother and her cub Zean rest together at The Milwaukee County Zoo Zean and B'alam are the two newest jaguar cubs with the mother Stella who are now on public exhibit, at four months old. B' alam (who has larger and darker spots as well as a square space on her forehead showing no spots) name means "Great and powerful king in Mayan. Zean encompasses the Belize people living and working in Belize, with all cultures. She has smaller, almost greyish spots on her coat. The first jaguar litter since 1975 was born at the Milwaukee County Zoo to Stella and Pat on November 13, 2013. The litter was on public display for the first time on March 13 when the jaguar baby's names were released.
