Robbie Cooper is a British artist working in photography, video and 3D. In 2008 he began his project ‘Immersion’ in which he filmed people’s faces as they watched TV, played video games and using the internet. His images have been of interest to me because they link to how playing video games affects your behaviour out of the game. I think that there is a definite link between gaming and behaviour. I think violent games such as Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty do affect behaviour and can be linked to criminality.

Macropinna microstoma is the only species of fish in the genus Macropinna, belonging to Opisthoproctidae, the barreleye family. It is recognized for a highly unusual transparent, fluid-filled dome on its head, through which the lenses of its eyes can be seen. The eyes have a barrel shape and can be rotated to point either forward or straight up, looking through the fish's transparent dome. M. microstoma has a tiny mouth and most of its body is covered with large scales.

The pioneer project of the Artificial Intelligence Laboratory (AI Lab) of the University of Zurich started six months ago, with the target of developing one of the most modern humanoid robots within nine months. Now the robot has received a new face and is able to move his arms driven by maxon DC motors. On March 9, 2013, Roboy will be presented to the public at the “Robots on Tour” robotics exhibition held in Zurich on the 25th anniversary of the lab.
