Some of these cat paintings have cost $15,000 and had to be renewed every 3 months! Some cat owners are really crazy about their cats! I’m not sure these poor cats really enjoyed the long hours of painting on their fur. The results are pretty amazing! Some cat painting are very simple with a unique color, others are very complex and required a true artist, like painting on a canvas. These cats are ready for Halloween!

Artist Kate Jenkins makes elaborate crocheted food art in her studio in Brighton. Much of her art depicts the local fare – fish and chips, bangers and mash, and so on – but a recent series, “Kate’s Diner”, focused on classic American food. This visually striking photo series by Juna Helminen captures an unsettling portrait that really doesn't fail to creep the living hell out of me. But I digress, I think its absolutely beautiful work by the Helsinki based artist who goes by the name of Immanuel on Deviantart. There are some really subtle undertones in this series, including fanaticism and loss of individuality. The lighting in these photographs, as well as the compositions are pretty damn amazing as well...If you like the surreal movies of Tarsem or played any of the Silent Hill games..Or are just looking to be creeped out, you'll love the rest of the images from this series after the break.
