“The Family of Man” opened at The Museum of Modern Art in January 1955 and was curated by Edward Steichen. It was groundbreaking in its scope – 503 images by 273 photographers from 68 countries – as well as in the numbers of people who experienced it on its tour through 88 venues in 37 countries. Cats are known for their bored and apathetic demeanor and expressions. Redditor and pet owner, Luke – Hero didn’t let that curtail his creative streak – he drew funny expressions for his cat instead. Amazingly, the cat looks pretty cooperative in this collection of grin-inducing pictures.

“Eye of a toad”. Animal Portraits, Łukasz Bożycki, Poland. Early spring sees a pond near Łukasz’s home city of Warsaw, Poland, full of mating frogs and a few toads. On this March day, Łukasz shared the pond with them for an evening, sitting in the icy water in his chest-high waders, keeping as still as possible, despite the numbing cold, so that the amphibians could get used to him. “I wanted to find a fresh way of portraying the amphibians”, he says, “at water level”. Using a telephoto lens, he focused on one lone toad and waited for the sun to dip almost below the horizon before pressing the shutter, using flash to bring out the details in the shadow. A quirky cartoonist challenged his own creation to a fight – but he could only draw. US artist Alex Solis, 31, from Chicago, Illinois, drew his skull t-shirt-wearing alter ego, who he calls Chuck, smashing his phone and stabbing his finger in his Inkteraction pictures. But Alex got his own back with a punch to Chucks jaw before squashing him against the bottom of the page. A Russian photographer and illustrator Anastasy Andrianova created this stunning photos of milk boxes with illustrations being drew. She calls this amazing photo project “Milky Photo”. She started the project in 2011 which is loved by people all over the world.
