A “Star Wars” superfan has brought the universe to his backyard. Amateur photographer Zahir Batin, from Selangor in Malaysia, added stormtroopers, X-wings and other famous sights to his native Tanjong Karang rice fields. The Malaysian snapper decided to combine his love for his hometown with his passion for the out-of-this-world space opera and, in particular, the toys. The amazing shots show TIE fighters on fire flying overhead and AT-AT walking tanks towering over tiny children, as well as Dark Side forces marching through the countryside. Prada Marfa is a permanently installed sculpture by artists Elmgreen and Dragset, situated 1.4 miles (2.3 km) northwest of Valentine, Texas, just off U.S. Highway 90 (US 90), and about 26 miles (42 km) northwest of the city of Marfa. The installation was inaugurated on October 1, 2005. The artists called the work a "pop architectural land art project."

Nithin Rao Kumblekar, a freelance illustrator and art director based in Bangalore, India, created these illustrations for an ad campaign by Ogilvy & Mather for ‘in store’ branding for Allen Solly clothing. The idea of the project was to blend each illustration in with a model(s) / photograph to express the theme “My world, My way“.

Sarel Theron is a freelance digital matte painter and concept artist from Cape Town, South Africa. Theron has worked on numerous projects for local and international clients, including book cover illustrations, matte paintings for commercials, concept art for various pitches, and tutorials for digital art magazines.

The Azerbaijan-based artist’s mixed-media installations include pieces entitled “Looking at two cities from one point of view”, “Plastik portret” and “Crisis haha”. Alakbarov carefully positions multicolored acrylic planes, packaging materials, and other objects of assorted shapes and then projects light upon then to create shadow images of beautiful beaches, cities, people, and even words.
