Cool metal root sculptures created by South Korean artist Sun-Hyuk Kim.
“Attacking Howler Monkey”. Due to a major tropical rainstorm my wife and I were forced to stay overnight in a Howler Monkey Rescue center in Panama. I used the time to explore the area and to take photos of the monkeys. Just after the rain finally stopped, I ran into this monkey that tried to mock attack me. I quickly took a couple of photos before retreating to a (more) safe distance. (Photo and caption by Christian Mueller-Planitz/National Geographic Traveler Photo Contest)

Ira Brown, is just two years old but is already well known model in the U.S. Her parents signed contracts with several well known brands of children's clothing. The girl is cute as a doll, likes to be photographed and goes with pleasure to all castings. While looking at her photos you will probably have mixed feelings – find her adorable and feel sorry for her at the same time.

The sculptures of Montreal-based Maskull Lasserre address structures of authority, class and value in nostalgic, allegorical and humourous ways. Oracle, an anatomically correct jaw carved into the corner of a picture frame, is a delicate yet slightly sinister imposition on an everyday object. Lasserre has exhibited throughout Canada, and at the New York Museum of Arts and Design. He completed his MFA at Concordia University.
