Could you ever have guessed that so many superheroes would meet together in one photoshoot? This scenario becomes possible thanks to the project of Sasha Goldberger. He was able to accomplish this by transporting modern superheroes into Elizabethan era. Some of the superheroes, such as the Cat Woman and Wonder Woman, look very natural in their new old-fashioned outfits. On the other hand, Ironman and Hulk look very peculiar in their newly acquired outfits. However, such innovative approach is very popular nowadays. Oscar Ramos is a designer based out of Santiago, Chile with his main focus being Illustration/character design along with photo manipulations and digital arts. Today on The Design Chimp we are highlighting some of the amazing character and illustration designs by Oscar Ramos.

The personal project of Michael Turner features a whole range of different DC and Marvel characters. Each of the posters in this project is created using only two colors, which immediately remind us of the character that is being shown. Despite the minimalistic style, the characters can be instantly recognized by their key features. These pictures might look good as posters; however, in our opinion they would look even better as T-shirt designs. Any fan of DC and Marvel comics would simply love having a T-shirt with their favorite character depicted on it. (Photo by Michael Turner)

Syrian artist Muhammad Ejleh has been spending his personal time while studying architectural design to work on his 3D drawings. Using only a sketchpad and pencils, the 20-year-old-student manages to make his characters and architecture pop out of the page.

Anamal photographer Ren Netherland travels thousands of miles across America to creative dog grooming competitions every year. He captures the dogs with their striking designs – which include characters from Disney, Star Wars and Sesame Street.
