Chocolate-lovers have gathered for the first Salon du Chocolat fashion show and festival in Brussels. The festival takes place in 19 cities worldwide, but this year marks the first Salon du Chocolat in Brussels. Born in Los Angeles in 1980 to an engineer and an artist, Mac has been creating and studying art independently since childhood. He was inspired at a young age by classic European painters such as Caravaggio, and Vermeer and Art Nouveau symbolists such as Klimt and Mucha. This was mixed with the more contemporary influences of graffiti and photorealism, as well as as the Chicano & Mexican culture he grew up around.

This project is a phenomenological social interaction experiment that focuses on the relationship of giving and receiving by literally transforming a human into a camera. Touchy, (the person wearing the device) is blind most of the time until you touch his/her skin. Once vision is given to Touchy, he/she can take photos for you. This human camera, with its unique properties, aims at healing social anxiety by creating joyful interactions.

Erika Sanada is an artist based in San Francisco, USA. Her concept is “Odd Things”. She want her audience to feel emotions that include excitement, astonishment and impact when they look at her artwork there are two reasons why she create odd, creepy and grotesque things. One is the memory of her childhood and the second is constant anxieties.
