Artist Amber Wheeler of Minneapolis, Minn., has given her 2-month-old boy just that. All she used was some Photoshop and well-timed photos. Using simple black lines – much like the ones in this series of cat Instagram portraits – Wheeler transformed her son into an astronaut, a superhero, and a cowboy without spending one dollar on costumes.

The Capilano Suspension Bridge is a simple suspension bridge crossing the Capilano River in the District of North Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The current bridge is 140 metres (460 ft) long and 70 metres (230 ft) above the river. It is part of a private facility, with an admission fee, and draws over 800,000 visitors a year.

This interesting and canny project by Joseph Ford combines aerial photography with fashion, using a technique that I have never seen before. The concept is simple, yet ingenious. Using various elements within both the aerial and fashion images, Joseph alligns them next to one another to create an alternative reality, and in some shots, it seems as if the garments were purposely created for this to happen. Such a great project that has so much room for experimentation.

Some of his works feature black and white gothic visages, while others have adorable little snouts. The northeastern United States sweltered this week in a scorching summer heat wave, complete with stagnant, sticky air and no winds for relief, forecasters said. Even in a summer already filled with stretches of very hot weather, this week will be stubbornly brutal, with no relief in sight until the weekend brings thunderstorms to the region, they said.
