Nepal's government recruited around 100,000 civilians aged between18 and 54 to support security forces for the upcoming local elections. The selected candidates are required to go through the 10-day training which includes physical tests, basic security lessons, cane-fighting training, skills that involve dealing with the public, mitigation and knowledge of the electoral code.
