Most Russians intending to vote for Vladimir Putin in Sunday's election say stability is at the root of their faith in their candidate – though many young voters believe it's time for a change of leader. Los Angeles native Mike Stilkey has always been attracted to painting and drawing not only on vintage paper, record covers and book pages, but on the books themselves. Using a mix of ink, colored pencil, paint and lacquer, Stilkey depicts a melancholic and at times a whimsical cast of characters inhabiting ambiguous spaces and narratives of fantasy and fairy tales. An RAF Eurofighter EF-2000 Typhoon takes off on March 22, 2011 at the Gioia Del Colle airbase in Italy. After last week's UN resolution which voted for a non-fly zone to be enforced over Libya, sorties have continued to be flown by forces representing the UN coalition from Italian military bases. More than 110 missiles have been fired on pro-Gaddafi strongholds in attempt to knock out the Libyan leaders defences.

John Crawford was always fascinated of a birds eye view, looking straight down in a vertical perspective. In his series ‘Aerial Nudes’ he is photographing single naked bodies from a high elevation. Perfectly timed photographs show a distant nude body laying down in a series of interesting locations. On each selected shoot day Crawford would deliver his model Carina to the location in the helicopter, positioning her in the carefully arranged set-up, then flying to 600 feet and capturing the image, which would take no more than ten minutes.
