Whenever we don’t have enough magic in our real life, we try to create it using our imagination. The cute characters created by Belgian illustrator Marie Breuer allow us to see the mystical world that resides within her mind. It is dark and adorable, enchanting and solemn. The thing that separates her drawings from the rest is the vivid colors and the bizarre huge, anime-like heads of her characters. The pictures that we liked the most were the ones where her characters wear different living animals like cloaks, with the mood of the characters being closely linked to the animal that they are wearing. This series of work is a collection of wooden books in which all kinds of details emerge from the raw material. Hands reach out, trying to escape the confines of the pages, faces seem to appear out of nowhere, and unknown characters are set behind wooden bars, trapped within the various pieces with titles like The Book of Life, The Magic Mountain, and The Book of Dreams. Orlandi has a vivid imagination and his fine works bring the characters of these storybooks to life in front of our eyes.

Queenie Liao is an artist but first of all a mother and she wanted to show that you can be both… at the same time. With her creative photography she caught the dreams of her child during his sleeps: the result is a brilliant compilation of photos where her baby is the absolout protagonist. Pacific as if nothing happens around him, his daily sleeps are transformed by Queenie Liao into fascinating fairy tales by using plain cloths, stuffed animals, and other common household .
