This young boy wrestled with his emotions at the National Children’s Sumo ­Tournament in Tokyo on July 30, 2012.

Delighted parents could barely contain their glee as they watch the young wrestlers do battle in the 28th tournament.

Sumo wrestling originated in ancient times as a way to entertain the Shinto gods and is considered to be Japan’s national sport.
