A famous Chinese wood carver, Zheng Chunhui has won a Guinness World Record after developing the longest wooden carving of the world. Zheng spent 4 years developing the artwork that is about forty feet long and made sculpture from a single tree trunk. The artwork is basically a copy of the popular Chinese painting named Along the River during the Qingming Festival that was made around one thousand years ago.

Dutch artist Daan Roosegaarde paid homage to Vincent Van Gogh's famous “Starry Night” painting by creating a glowing bike path relying on solar-powered LED lights. The 650-yard route which opened November 12, 2014 extends between Eindhoven and Neunen, Netherlands, where Van Gogh spent part of his life. On the western side of Mount Hood lies the longest glacier cave system in the contiguous United States. In 2012, these caves were mapped to a combined length of 7,166.8 feet by cave explorers Brent McGregor and Eddy Cartaya. Currently, the total passage length is hundreds of feet less.
