Bingo is being taken to new heights across the globe. Here we look at some of the best themed nights, the location and what’s different about these events that’s made them so popular. It is not just bingo online that is taking the world by storm!

“We take rusty old junk and we put love into it”. The old Motor City has a unique style in bicycles these days: from fat wheels and fake fuel tanks to stretched cycles with powerful sound systems – and even a family-sized BBQ. “Detroit’s custom bike scene developed alongside Slow Roll, a weekly cycle ride started in 2010 by Jason Hall and Mike MacKool. Now upwards of 2,000 people turn up each Monday to cruise a different part of the city. The week I go the crowd seems evenly split between black and white, male and female, city and suburbs. Jerome Flynn, who played Bronn on “Game of Thrones“, posed in a cage on London's Oxford Street on November 26, 2019 alongside the campaign group Farms Not Factories to raise awareness that most supermarkets and high street food chains are still sourcing their pork almost entirely from factory farms. Having $100 in your pocket would be so much cooler if it was designed by Martin Joubert. He went all out and created a number of different designs for the 100 USD banknotes, ranging from silly to witty. We especially liked the one with “That’s right. This is real money” written on it, showing just how many cups of coffee, basketballs, and guns you can buy with 100 dollars. All in all, even the currency that we have today is nothing but paper, even though it looks official and strict. There is nothing backing it up except for our noble military that ensures that Gulf States sell their oil using only the “green” kind of currency. (Photo by Martin Joubert)
