Lush green rice terraces sprawl over 2,200 hectares of mountainside ready to be harvested. These stunning images, captured by photographer Saravut Whanset, show the incredible terraces throughout the course of the day, including at sunrise and sunset. Workers tend to the fields, with each terrace between 1 and 1.5 metres wide, while wooden huts stand on stilts on the mountainside. Rina Sawayama – XS (Official Video). Rina Sawayama is a Japanese-British singer, songwriter and model. Born in Niigata, she was raised from a young age in London, where she currently resides. Her debut extended play, Rina, was released in 2017, before her debut studio album, Sawayama, was released on 17 April 2020.

Kokeshi dolls these traditional wooden figurines were said to have been originally made as souvenirs to sell to people visiting the local hot springs in Northern Japan. Although there are about 10 different styles, each doll is made with an enlarged head and cylindrical body with no arms or legs.
