Canadian artist Ellen Jewett makes extremely detailed animal sculptures that combine realism with curious elements of fantasy.

Photographer Vincent Jansen travels throughout Europe, visiting beautiful abandoned places. He explores churches, factories, sanatoriums, mortuaries, villas and theaters, all quietly waiting for renovation or demolition. Mount Sinabung, a highly active volcano on Sumatra island, erupted several times this week.
