New York-based Latvian photographer Kaija Straumanis has a series of funny, well-timed images that shows various objects being thrown at her head.

One of the largest paddle steamers afloat in Britain is the H.M.S. Royal Eagle, former peacetime excursion boat which carried passengers on pleasure jaunts from Tower Bridge to Southend, Ramscate and Margate. Commissioned two years ago as a warship of the Royal Navy, the craft has been in action 52 times against enemy aircraft. Syrian artist Muhammad Ejleh has been spending his personal time while studying architectural design to work on his 3D drawings. Using only a sketchpad and pencils, the 20-year-old-student manages to make his characters and architecture pop out of the page.
