Without bothering Jung and its "Puer aeternus" or Pascoli with its "Little Boy", we can certainly agree that, somewhere inside each of us, there's a young core, instinctive, creative but also innocent and naïve. What would happen if this intimate essence would be completely revealed?

UK-based digital artist Dan Lester combines photography and illustration into clever and intriguing images that really make you question what you're looking at. Is it a photograph or a drawing? Sequence photography is a technique of shooting a series of images in where the subject is captured in successive motion. This technique conveys motion in a static image, and comes in great use for sport based photography. A merged photo sequence can radically show a different perspective much more than what can be captured in a single image, you get to experience the entire process of the action taken by the athlete.

Istanbul-based Ali Gulec is a graphic artist with a difference. His surreal illustrations are like identikit drawings aiming to prosecute the material arts. Working on the margins of what is possible with his medium, Gulec's forms, figures, and situations are remarkable for their clarity and strength of purpose, and maintain an iconographic intensity that would make any rock band bereft of an album cover salivate with admiration.

If you are interested, the Korean call this style Trot (ppongjjak); a very simple life story is told with three guitar chords – quite a typical situation for our planet. Long-legged dolls from LPG (by the way, “Lovely Pretty Girls” could be “Long Pretty Girls”) are certainly smiling, though it would have been more logical for them to cry their hearts out, but that's what the Korean are like; who has seen doramas, will understand.

Few things are more beautiful than puffy white clouds floating in the bright blue sky. Do you remember the time when you would lay on the soft green grass, look up at the sky, and try to recognize shapes in the clouds floating overhead? Wasn’t it wonderful, just lying there, letting the wind caress your skin, as you imagine that the clouds in the sky are actually mystical or not-so-mystical creatures? Dragons, ducks, teddy bears, dinosaurs, everything was up there. It was good old times. As adults we forget about simple pleasures of life. However, an Argentinian artist Martin Feijoo didn’t forget those times, and took them a step further. Two Chinese farmers got more than they bargained for when they pulled up the root of a fleece flower – and came face-to-face with the doppelganger of Homer Simpson, on May 17, 2013. The large root appears to have two bulging eyes and a prominent nose – giving it an uncanny resemblance to the famous cartoon character.
